Setting up your Mealtime Account

Welcome to Komarek School!

For our cafeteria, we utilize Mealtime for our Point of Sale. No cash is accepted in the cafeteria for meal purchases. Please register your student (using their school ID) at MyMealtime.Com. Here you can keep track of your student’s meal purchases, balances, etc. You may add funds thru Mealtime, but they do have a service charge. You may also pay the school directly with the following:

1. Send in cash or check or money order made out to Komarek School. (Please be certain that your child's name is attached to the payment and it is noted for meals.)

2. Come to the school to make a credit card payment or cash payment

3. Make an on-line payment thru the school's website. Please note it is for meals. (https://magic.collectorsolutions.com/magic-ui/Login/komarek-sd--94 )

On the school’s website (Komarek94.org), under the Parent Tab, scroll to Breakfast/Lunch. You will find information that may be helpful, including meal prices, menus, and income waivers, as well as the EPay link listed in #3 above. Breakfast and Lunch Program Costs

Dear Komarek families,

Students whose families are eligible for free or reduced price breakfast or lunch will be able to access meals next school year at no cost or a discounted rate. If you are unsure if your family may be eligible for free or reduced lunch, please contact the Business Office. 

Lunch

  • The cost of a school lunch will be $4.62 for families that are not receiving a free or reduced meal waiver. A carton of milk is included with each lunch.
  • The cost of a school lunch will be 0.40¢ for families that qualify for a reduced-price lunch. A carton of milk is included with each lunch.
  • There is no cost for families that qualify for a free lunch. A carton of milk is included with each lunch.
  • All students may purchase an additional carton of milk for 0.35¢

Breakfast

  • The cost of a school breakfast will be $1.86 for families that are not receiving a free or reduced meal waiver.
  • The cost of a school breakfast will be 0.30¢ for families that qualify for a reduced-price breakfast. A carton of milk is included with each breakfast.
  • There is no cost for families that qualify for a free breakfast. A carton of milk is included with each lunch.
  • All students may purchase an additional carton of milk for 0.35¢

Families that have qualified for a waiver based on income eligible Medicaid, the receipt of SNAP, or TANF, have received an email notifying them of their waived meal status. There is no need to complete a free or reduced waiver form.

Families may also complete a waiver form for eligibility based on household income. Forms are available in both English and Spanish and may be accessed under the parent tab of the Komarek website. Please complete the form listing all family members living in the household and the income of all working members of the household. Free and reduced price status is based on the Department of Agriculture Fiscal 2024 Income Eligibility Guidelines.

Queridos Padres de Familia de Komarek,

Los estudiantes que su familia son elegibles para desayuno o almuerzo gratis van a poder acceder a las comidas gratis o con descuentos para el siguiente año escolar. Si no está seguro de si su familia puede ser elegible para recibir almuerzo gratis o a precio reducido, comuníquese con la Oficina Comercial.

Debido a estos ajustes puede crear alguna carga financiera en algunas familias, por eso les estamos informando acerca de este cambio. Durante este momento y al empezar el año escolar la Junta de Educación, el distrito escolar y la oficina de negocios (cobranza) van a ver la forma de cómo ayudar a familias con ajustes.

Almuerzos

Las familias que califican en una reducción de acuerdo a sus ingresos familiares elegibles de Medical que reciben SNAP, o TANF, han recibido un correo electrónico acerca de la reducción de la comida. No necesitan completar una forma para gratis o reducción de comida.
